I’m not sure at the moment what WordPress calls their buddy icons (Avatars?), but I’m dubbing them by the title AOL calls ‘em- buddy icons. I changed mine a bit… Microscopic, Wide-eyed (almost said, “blue-eyed”) Dog+ Geisha Kimono= Adorable Buddy Icon.

Susie and I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the old one with Gene Wilder in it. We made up an, ahem, interesting joke about how Grandpa Joe pulls a Wonka bar from underneath him…

Susie- Did… did he just pull that out from his butt?

Me- (laughs) I think he did…

Susie- He craps out Wonka bars!

Me- (mocks Grandpa Joe) I’m the real Dumbledore! I can dance within a minute after getting out of bed for 20 years and I crap out Wonka Bars!

Today was a rather busy day. (Well, probably boring to people who actually have social lives, but for me it was rather busy.) My mom woke me up early in the morning (after only 3 hours of sleep because I stayed up until 3 AM), and I was surprised at my own positive attitude! Usually, I’m not a morning person AND I’m moody and miserable at home, but I was happy and smiley! (Plus, Mom said I looked like H-E-double hockey sticks because of the purple bags under my eyes and my hacking fits) I wish every morning were like this one. My mom woke me up, and I just sat up straight like an android and smiled. Then she said “Good girl,” and kissed my forehead! I felt so loved! (God, I need a life.) Then she went downstairs and I followed soon after, and my dad was also very cheery! Then, before Mom left, she promised to bring me back treats. Lots and lots of treats, quoth the mother. She NEVER says lots and lots. (These cheeriness probably derives from the fact that my devil of a sister Megan was sleeping.) Then they both left for the day after a warm-and-fuzzy-feeling goodbye. I had a few hours before Megan would get up, so I watched bits and pieces of PotC At World’s End and Goblet of Fire. I was more tired than i EVER was in my whole life! The fatigue weighed on me like 500 pounds! I stuck my face in the sink twice to keep myself awake! I think I almost fell asleep leaning against the door frame (still standing), but i can’t remember. Then at ten AM my mother returned with a GALLON of my favorite chocolate milk and the ingredients to corn casserole! :D:D

Secondly, I had high school orientation today. Lemme tell ya, that place is HUGE and it’s like a maze! It’s very updated and has its own secluded section of the building for just ninth graders, the freshmen academy. That way I won’t get trampled over. I will post a picture of the school map tomorrow, because i’m trying to finish this post before midnight. So anyways, my mom, dad, and I arrived about 20 minutes early, then we wandered around like grapefruits (yes, grapefruits, I have my own lingo) for ten minutes, then went into the gym for the 30 minute assembly, where the principal and some main faculty members address the main points we need to know for the school year and the dress code and all of that. I saw my dream beau, who shall not be named, and maya if you’re reading this, which you probably are *sings* Don’t say it! Ya never know, he could wander onto this blog… Anywho, my mother was touched by the four deaths of Wren High School students in car accidents, so she forced me to fill out a driver’s preperation course form… Let’s see how that goes. Every time I got on a moving object with wheels that I had to drive, I crashed or fell or something of that nature. Then again, if I’m so clumsy and anxious behind the wheel, the course will (hopefully) help with that. I also picked up a school map (which had several mismarked classrooms) and maneuvered my way around the school with MUCH difficulty. It was a maze, there were a thousand students AND their families, and it was just utter pandemonium. I bumped into my friends Johanna, Nick, Brandon, Morgan (Momo), and Alex who were more excited to see me than I imagined they would be. I felt really bad for never communicating with any of them at all over the summer after realizing how great they are, ya know? So after several misleading directions, we found out all my classes, my mom squished a girl between the door and the wall when she opened it, and my dream beau (who i KNOW likes me, Momo be my witness) gazed at me… god, I’m so delusional. x) However, on the way home I was overwhelmed with the anxiety, difficulty, and fear of starting anew at another school (which I’ve done more times than I have fingers) and I flipped out on the way home in the car when my dad made a remark about how he disproved of the gothic style (and all my friends are goth), so I had a sobbing attack when I got home and started hyperventilating a bit. Waves of nausea kept hitting me when I went off on my own to explore the school. Then I calmed down and made corn casserole

Even though my fourteenth birthday was a couple weeks ago, i found out that my favorite actress Kate Winslet’s husband (Sam Mendes) was also born on August 1st. (Mental note- James Cameron’s birthday is August 16th.)

Since my blogs (other than this one) are pretty much all dead, I was thinking of deleting them or completely abandoning them once and for all. I was considering keeping Colonial Roleplay, but I’m not quite sure just yet. Only Aubrey and I are on Hogwarts Roleplay, so with the permission of Aubrey, I’m shooting that one down. My WordPress dance blog is dead as well, and because of my whole year-long depression series, I have pretty much given up on all my hobbies. Please comment if you’d like any of these blogs to be kept, or even better, would like to join one of these blogs, just so I don’t shut one down that you have a deep interest in. A deep, DEEP interest. Not like a short burst of posting fever that will last for less than a month.

I had a WONDERFUL birthday yesterday. Sorry for no posts yesterday, but my friends stayed until 11 at night. I had an awesome pool party with a few friends, and got a Michael Jackson CD and Prisoner of Azkaban DVD from my mom, a GINORMOUS Twix bar, huge Milky Way bar, and a Hot Topic gift card from my friend Alex, $10 from my friend Jessica, and some loverly cosmetics from my friend Morgan. ))

I GOT MY BRACES OFF TODAY!!! Two long years of waiting for them to come off, and they finally have! I also got that weird piece of skin between my two upper front teeth removed… I have to wear a plastic retainer at night, though. I was in the ortho office for about two hours, and I’m still adjusting to the feel of my mouth without braces. YAYYY!!!!!! (PS- Along the long, long, LONG road of the orthodontics experience, I had several complications in light of the fact that I moved back and forth between New York and South Carolina, and both places used COMPLETELY different kinds of braces.)
